New hire will fuel company's growth and support entrance into new markets.
Attila Security, a leading provider of portable IP security, announced today that Kathleen Booth has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. Booth will sit on the company’s management team and reports to Chief Executive Officer Gregg Smith. Her appointment follows the company’s recent announcement that retired Brigadier General of the U.S. Marine Corps John Simmons would join Attila as its Chief Strategy Officer.
Booth, an accomplished business leader with more than 20 years of marketing and strategic communications experience, will oversee Attila’s marketing team and be responsible for building and strengthening Attila’s brand, developing growth strategies, cultivating opportunities in new and existing markets, and increasing demand for Attila’s products and solutions.

Booth comes to Attila from Prevailion, a venture-backed SaaS company named by CRN as one of the 10 hottest cybersecurity startups of 2019. There, she was brought in following the company’s Series A round to build the marketing team, develop a go-to-market strategy and drive demand in preparation for a Series B round in 2020.

Before Prevailion, Booth was the VP of Marketing at IMPACT, where she helped lead the company’s evolution to a media business model incorporating a brand publishing division, events business, and new advertising and sponsorship revenue streams. At IMPACT, she built the company’s marketing team and developed strategies and campaigns that contributed to growth of more than 200% in the company’s top-line revenue during her tenure.
Prior to IMPACT, Booth was the Co-Founder and CEO of Quintain Marketing, an award winning digital marketing agency that developed marketing and demand generation strategies for high growth B2B companies, including a number of cybersecurity startups.
Named by TopRank as one of the 50 Top B2B Marketing Influencers in 2019, Booth is also the host of The Inbound Success Podcast and a mentor and board level advisor to several technology startups. She is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and holds a Masters in International Politics and an MBA in Marketing from The George Washington University.
